Leopold Gambeson (Suede)
The "Leopold" gambeson is classic cut and generously upholstered. This makes it excellent for combining with maille. It has short sleeves and is slotted on the back. Thus, it barely limits the mobility of its wearer and still effectively protects against abrasive armour and bruises in combat.
The simple cut Gambeson is closed with five straps and roll buckles on the front side. "Leopold" is an ideal basis for all armament concepts and great to wear as an independent garment with minimal added detail.
